Description

Wrangler's Blue Moon (Merle) is double bred Dixieland's Rusty. His sire Wrangler's Marshal Dillon was a long time stud at our kennel. Dillon's sire 3X Species Champion Dixieland's Smokin Freedom was dominant in AKC Field Trials. Merle is also a great grandson of FC/AFC Rusty's Blue Earth Rexx. Rexx is now in the Hall Of Fame and was a standout in the breed and sired National Field Champions like Diamond S Stephanie, Diamond S Texas Express and others. Rexx was arguably one of HOF Dixieland's Rusty's best producing sons.

Merle's dam, Wrangler's Harvest Moon is an own daughter of NFC Uodibar's Shoot The Moon which traces back to Dixieland's Rusty as well.

Merle is an awesome gundog in every way. He hunts hard with a very stylish point. He has a super nose and is a true bird finder. He is a compact, solid well muscled medium sized dog with great markings. He has a wonderful demeanor both in and out of the kennel and is passing all his traits along to his offspring. His bloodline speaks for itself and he is a true representative of what this bloodline was intended to do.
