We have a brittany who is almost three years old. We needed help with her off leash recall and hunting training. I was not completely on board with sending her away from home so began looking for a trainer close to home and found Wrangler Kennels. I was happy to find that since we were sort of close (90 miles) we could train with Markus and take Tori home on the weekends. She just finished 7 months with Markus and it turned out to be the best experience for all of us. Tori has learned so much as we have also. Markus helped us in every way possible and the Saturday training has been fun and we have met the nicest dog friends. There arent many things we would get up for at 3:30 am and drive 90 miles to do but the training has been worth every minute. We hope to continue to train on Saturdays and continue our friendship with Markus and Wrangler Kennels.

Just want to brag on Marcus and his breeding program. Where we hunt here in western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle, it’s tough sagebrush and Sandhill country. We breed tough, confident birddogs. We don’t field trial and we don’t go to shows. The pointer pup I got from Marcus checks the box for everything I was looking for. Hello! I began working with Markus earlier this year. As I moved to Fort Bliss I began to search around the area for trainers for my 6 month old GSP, Birdie. I dropped my pup off and began attending Saturday training sessions twice a month. The first thing I noticed is the care and passion that Markus puts into his work. I brought my Wirehaired Pointing Griffon to Markus to train. Henry is still being worked and will take a bit longer because he has a hard bite. It is amazing to see the transition from wild puppy to a tamed and controlled dog. Not only does Markus train the dog but also trains the owner. I am new to dogs and bird hunting in general.
