Markus did a great job with my dog Groot Lab/GSP. My wife was excited on how well he behaves now. Before we sent him to Markus for training he would jump up on her and the kids. Now he doesn't jump and is great with the kids. Markus also did a great job on his bird training. I am ready for the next bird season to have him for a full hunting season. Markus thank you again for all you did with Groot. I hope to get a GSP from you in the future.

I bought a pup from the last Gunner x Jo Jo litter and so far have been extremely happy. He is the youngest dog on my string and is turning out to be one of my best bird finders. I can't wait to start formal training to find out how much I will be able to polish this dog! The buying process was also very pleasant with outstanding communication from Markus from start to finish. I'm sure this will not be my last dog from Wrangler Kennels.

We have a young female out of a Wrangler's Honky Tonk Joe and Pinehill Pure Copper cross. This has been her first real hunting season on wild Kansas pheasants and quail. She's making an OUTSTANDING young dog. She's beautiful to watch in the field, she is a natural retriever to hand and the first time we took her with other dogs she naturally honored their point each time throughout the day. Have had other bird dogs in the past and think she is one of the most natural bird dogs with a great nose and OUTSTANDING trainability. So easy to handle. Would recommend these bloodlines to anyone.

Markus did a wonderful job training our chocolate lab, coco. She was a handful and Markus patiently worked with her in obedience and hunting training. Coco does well in public, on the hiking trails and has been retrieving doves this season. Markus takes time to work with the owners as well so we are able to communicate with Coco more effectively. Comments: We purchased a female English Pointer pup from the cross of Wranglers Honkey Tonk Joe and Wranglers Little Patti. Our dog, Piper, Is just 8 months old. She has been training on pigeons and quail. Piper has learned to Point, Back and retrieve - What a Natural! We have not had a dog with such a great nose, poker straight tail and the natural drive to find birds since out last Crow's Little Joe pup many years ago. We are looking forward to running Piper in NSTRA and look forward to many years of placements! Thank you, Markus for such a fantastic pup! We definitely will be looking to purchase another dog from Wrangler Kennels! FYI: I sent you a picture or three of Piper on point!

Comments: I had a new pointer and was lost on where to start with training and worried I would ruin him. I was directed to Wrangler Kennels where he’d had two of his dogs trained by Markus. I spoke with Markus and we met up to assess each other and my new dog. We began training in May, 2013 and I was immediately impressed with Markus’s approach to training. He was very methodical and thoughtful in his assessment of each dog and designing training that met each dog where it was at developmentally. My dog and I quickly progressed under Markus’s guidance and my setter responded positively to his training approach.Along with training my dog, Markus has trained me to be patient and understanding in the training process and has helped me forge a bond with my dog that will carry through the years and into the field. There is no doubt that my setter and I have flourished with Markus’s approach to dog training using logical, thoughtful, time tested methods that allow each dog to grow.

Hey Markus quick update on Jake and Molly today was third trip out for wild chukars,both dogs honor really well, and Jake is an awesome dead bird finder he never quit looking for a cripple even after 3 old seasoned dogs gave up the search,he finally found it and he's so quick he beat them on the retrieve to 2 others,molly is doing good I need to give her some alone time the other dogs just over power her but she's getting out and trying,both dogs are handling nice.
