Hunting New Mexico Small Game

The areas in and around Las Cruces are populated with Scale and Gambels quail with an occasional Mearns covey in the mountain areas. Bob White quail can be found further East around Hobbs, Potales, Clovis and some of the other Eastern boundary towns. Although we don't have wild pheasant in Las Cruces, they too can be found in the Eastern border of New Mexico and West Texas. We have been taking annual trips to these destinations for pheasant and it has become one of our favorite hunting trips. I have enclosed some pictures from these outings and will be adding other small game pics from the past and future.
